SAN ANTONIO, July 28, 2010 – The San Antonio Spurs today announced the final roster for the 2010-11 Silver Dancers.

Fifteen women made the final cut from 125 applicants to represent the Spurs as a member of the 2010-11 Silver Dancers. Finals were held Tuesday at Cowboys Dance Hall where 22 finalists competed in front of a live audience to earn one of the coveted spots. Nine members from last season’s squad return, with six new ladies making their Silver Dancers debut this season.

The Silver Dancers are the official on-court dance team for the Spurs. The Silver Dancers perform dance routines and entertain fans during Spurs home games. In addition, they are active members of the community, making appearances and attending events throughout the year. The Spurs Silver Dancers will go into their 19th season this year as official on-court dance team for the Spurs.
